Everyone! We work with clients of all budgets, lifestyles, and life-stages. Whether you’re a new homeowner, busy parent, retiree, or renter with roommates, we’ll find a way to help you meet your home goals.


+ What makes you different from other interior designers?

A few things! Let’s review:

Our pricing is flat rate — you’ll know exactly what our services will cost before you begin.

No budget is too small — we don’t place markups on anything you purchase, therefore we don’t set project budget minimums or required spend amounts.

We advise, you call the shots — our role is that of a game-planner and trusted advisor. You implement the design and remain in the driver’s seat when it comes to timeline, orders, and purchases.


+ What makes you different from other virtual design services?

Many well known virtual design companies make the majority of their profit from product sales, not their designs. These companies make back end deals with big name furniture retailers to collect a commission every time they sell you something. This translates into incessant marketing emails, limited options, and cookie cutter designs.

At One Door Home, we aren’t beholden to any particular vendors. We can recommend unique, local and/or vintage sources that best align with your personal preferences and needs.


+ Do you offer services for someone selling their home?

Yes! Our Pre-Market Consultation is a great starting point for someone looking for actionable advice on how to make their home more desirable to potential buyers. In-home styling for photography and open houses is also available to those in the Boston area.


+ What forms of payment do your accept?

We accept payment for all services through Venmo for Business.


+ Is there a minimum budget required for your One Room Design Guide or Styling Guide packages?

Nope! We understand that budgets come in all shapes and sizes. In fact, the fun of working across various project budgets often results in creative and exciting outcomes!


Let us know within 14 days of receiving your Design or Styling Guide and we’ll find you another option. In order to avoid dashed hopes, we do recommend making purchases on any vintage or sale items ASAP.


We do this for you! We’ll always check to make sure we’re linking you with the best priced retailer. However, prices can fluctuate, so we won’t be offended if you shop around!


+ Can you give recommendations for contractors or tradespeople?

Since we work with clients from all over, we can’t usually make these types of connections. However, if the stars align, and we do know of someone we think would be a perfect fit for your project, we’ll let you know!
